How AWEN continuing education works:

• Courses are Pass/Fail. A passing grade requires completion of all homework assignments, participation in class discussion, and a passing grade on a final exam.
• Written course materials, including text, homework and exams – all supplied by AWEN - are sent via electronic mail.
• No purchase of additional textbooks or supplies is required.
• Class time consists of closed group e-mail discussion during times specified by the instructor.
• Assignments are given on a day each week specified by the course instructor and are due the following week.
• Course instructor will also be available during specified times to answer individual e-mails.
• AWEN Online Education courses are submitted for continuing education credits for veterinarians and veterinary technicians through the American Association of Veterinary State Boards’ RACE program.
• Upon completion of each course, a Certificate of Completion is issued.
